Finding A Digital Letter From and Expressing Them(2020)

 

Graduation Project With the project 'Finding a Digital Letterform and Expressing Them', I explored the relationship between computer systems and human intuition. I was fascinated by the interaction between computer systematics and human intuition. As a result, I began to create endless quantities of intriguing letter-forms by interfering with the computer’s set of rules through my personal intuitive choices. I compare the process to the making of puff pastry, in which layers of dough and butter are piled up by constant folding and rolling out. Likewise, the letter-forms emerge from the step-by-step layering of my intuitive choices on top of the computer’s systematic execution.
